IPM Essen is the annual trade fair for meeting the Belgian horticultural sector at various group stands of the VLAM, Flanders’ Agricultural Marketing Board. Since the 2021 edition of IPM Essen has been cancelled, VLAM is offering a virtual alternative on https://www.belgianplants.com/en/virtual-plant-fair-2021.
On this landing page you will find a list with the company data sheet of 33 Flemish horticultural companies that would have been present at the 2021 IPM if it had been held. Together, the 33 companies represent a good selection of Belgian horticultural products, ranging from the typically Flemish products such as azaleas, rhododendrons, flowering houseplants, Flemish bay trees and chrysanthemums, to shrubs, young and bedding plants and tree nursery products.
Furthermore, there is also a description of the novelties that a number of these companies were going to present at the IPM. After all, the Flemish horticultural companies are constantly searching for product innovations to keep surprising plant lovers and they are all too happy to present them. In addition to innovations that catch the eye thanks to a new colour pallet or special flower or plant shapes, there are also newcomers that stand out thanks to their frost resistance or the extra efforts made with regard to the environment.
